These parks are both located in the south western part of Uganda giving the best unique experiences of gorilla trekking. Itinerary overview: Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable national park Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi then transfer to Mgahinga national park Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga national park Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala Detailed itinerary: Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable national park After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on your journey with your English-speaking driver guide. During the drive, a driver guide always gives a briefing about the entire trip as you continue with the scenic views of the rolling hills of kigezi region, the Equator with the different roadside crafts and fresh fruit shops, Lake Bunyonyi and different vegetation covers with small rivers and escarpments before reaching the beautiful home of the extra ordinary mt gorillas. Dinner at the lodge Accommodation: Rushaga gorilla lodge Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi then transfer to Mgahinga national park After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Rushaga headquarters for a mini briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking then after organize for the hiking trails to find the exclusive beautiful mt gorillas. Normally the trail takes 2-6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas with an excluded hour to spend with the gorillas learning their behaviours, watch them play around and feed, take memorable pictures and videos for a thrilling lifetime experience. Dinner at the lodge Accommodation: Lake Mulehe safari lodge Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga national park After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts about gorilla trekking. The experience normally takes 30-7 hours depending on the location of the mt gorillas. When the gorillas are found, tourists are given one hour to spend with the gorillas in their natural habitats, feeding, learning their behaviours and having the best memorable videography and photography. Dinner at the lodge Accommodation: Lake Mulehe safari lodge Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala After an early morning breakfast, the tourists will check out and embark on a scenic drive to Kampala. The scenic drive will take you through the beauty of vegetation covers with indistinct small rivers and escarpments and clear views of Lake Bunyonyi. Lunch will be served on the way as you continue your journey to Kampala.
