Itinerary overview -Pick up from Kigali to Nyungwe - Canopy walk in Nyungwe - Transfer to Kigali Detailed itinerary After an Early morning breakfast, a driver guide will pick you up from Kigali and transfers you to Nyungwe forest national park. Canopy walk normally starts from Uwinka reception center where the tourists are briefed about the walk and assign a walking guide; tourists purchase walking sticks and boots. The walk is normally a 2 hour experience and much better done during day mostly in a dry season. A walking guide gives information about different species that stay in the forest. Canopy walk offers its walkers stunning and wonderful great views of the East African region, Lake Kivu and the different sections of Nyungwe Forest National Park. During the walk, tourists get a chance to spot the different animals’ like golden cats, duikers, giraffes, lions and chimpanzees.
